AIRFIELD POWER OUTAGES
Due to electrical supply work in August 2026, the electrical supply to the Airfield will be disrupted on Tuesday 11 August 2026 and Friday 14 August 2026. The duration of which the power will be disrupted for is unknown, Airfield users should plan for the disruption to last all day.
The airfield will still be open, however the fuel compound will be OOA for the duration so that must be factored in. Also, weather indications will be unavailable.
There will be no internet at the Club and the Plogbook terminal in Ops will be unavailable.

Housekeeping (24 Jul 26)
If you open the hangar doors (Hangar 2 or 3) for the first time of the day, do not forget to complete the checksheet in the red folders lodged inside both sets of doors. This is a Station H&S mandatory requirement.
There have been a couple of occasions when the Fuel Compound has been left open after flying. Please make sure that it is secured if you are the last to fly ; if in doubt, secure anyway!
Please do NOT dispose of used batteries in the waste bins. They can cause a fire.
