HALTON AERO CLUB
RAF Halton operates a Flying Club where servicemen and women,
regardless of rank or trade, and affiliated civilians have the opportunity
of learning to fly, which dates back to 1925.
Hot Poop - open to find out more!..........
Ex Agile Warrior
This is an RAF wide exercise that will be taking place over the next 2 weeks, starting today, Mon 2nd Mar and due to end Friday 13th Mar, in which RAF Halton will be playing a part. This will include the participation of the airfield for any scenarios that may have been conjured here on Stn, but this will not change how we operate from day-to-day. There is nothing that has been notified about any scenarios in preparation so this will be a day by day approach to anything that could potentially arise.
Please may I ask that you remain vigilant for those entering and exiting the airfield, check all ID’s of personnel that are not displaying , and if you find any issues / problems arise within the airfield site, please either get in contact with the Airfield Manager, or myself to notify us of anything that may have potentially arisen, and we will act accordingly.

See latest ops Mgr Update in post below
———————————
IER Duties
With effect from 1 Apr 26 Chiltern Gliding Club will assume ALL IER 2 duties and there will no longer be a requirement for HAC to provide IER2 manning.
On the (rare) occasions when CGC cannot fill the duty, the AFM will contact the Ops Mgr or HMC to provide an ad hoc volunteer.
The new system will be trialled for 3 months

Halton Cross Section
The information in the Ops Mgr’s Update of 17 Jan 26 was incorrect! The cross section for Halton will not be produced at all after Sun 25th Jan 26. Instead pilots are to refer to the Benson Cross Section which can be found under the “Station Products” tab on MOMIDS and searching for Benson Cross Section.
The FOB will be updated accordingly at the Jul 26 review.

HAC FOB
The HAC FOB has been updated and all pilots T Cards have been put “in the RED“. Please read the latest version (1 Jan 26) and sign as having done so before returning your T Card to GREEN.
