RAF Halton operates a Flying Club where servicemen and women,
regardless of rank or trade, and affiliated civilians have the opportunity
of learning to fly, which dates back to 1925.

Noise Abatement
With the increase in flying now the good weather is here, The Station is receiving an increased number of noise complaints from residents under the circuit flightpath. Members are reminded to vary their climb out within the noise abatement zones and to avoid the published noise sensitive areas to spread the noise – when it is safe to do so of course! Noise abatement lanes and noise sensitive areas are detailed on the Aerodrome Information webpage
