Radio Telephony Practical Exam Preparation

To assist HAC students in preparing for the practical radio telephony examination Steve Thorogood is running training sessions on an on-demand basis.

The HAC website has a password protected page built into it with most of the materials you will need for the course. This includes air maps and routes for a journey from White Waltham, transiting Benson, Brize Norton, landing at Gloucester. The second leg of the journey is from Gloucester to Wellesbourne Mountford.

The final leg of the journey is from Wellesbourne Mountford to Cranfield via Turweston.  ATZ references for each location are also available. The course goes through the various R/T calls that will need to be made to complete the journey with participants acting in the virtual role of pilot.
