Tecnam P2002-JF Sierra
Acquired thanks to a generous grant from the RAF Sports Board and the RAF Benevolent Fund, the Tecnam P2002-JF Sierra is the clubs newest aircraft. The purchase of this aircraft signals the clubs intent to gradually modernise its training fleet so that it can continue to improve efficiency by keeping operating costs to a minimum, in keeping with the clubs mission statement.
Built in Italy, the Tecnam is a single-engined light sports aircraft that combines style with low operating costs. It represents an ideal platform for students, with benign handling, excellent visibility and good performance. The Rotax engine offers comparative efficiency whilst minimising, through a significantly reduced noise footprint, disruption to the local community in the vicinity of RAF Halton.

Piper Warrior PA-28
The Piper Warrior PA-28 is a four-seat light aircraft built by Piper Aircraft and designed for flight training, air taxi and personal use. The PA-28 family of aircraft comprises all-metal, unpressurized, single-engined, piston-powered airplanes with low-mounted wings and tricycle landing gear. They have a single door on the copilot side, which is entered by stepping on the wing.
G-EDGA is used for PPL training as well as IMC training. With a full instrument fit and GPS, this aircraft is perfect as a touring aircraft.

The standard flying school aircraft for decades Halton Aeroplane Club has 3 C152s. These are used for the majority of PPL flying training. Each one has a different instrument set-up to give students and pilots experience with using different equipment. One is fitted as an IMC trainer and one has a GPS fitted.
