Dear Member,
I hope this email finds you safe and well. For those who do not know me, I am the new Operations Manager at Halton Aero Club as well as a part-time Instructor. My working days will be Monday-Thursday.
As we commence our Return to Flying, please note the following:
- There is now a one-way system through the club. Signs/ arrows are there for guidance as soon as we walk in through the main entrance.
- The BFI is now operational- the Bowser is no longer in use and will be repositioned in due course. Please remember the first person using fuel each day needs to do a fuel sample.
- Current charts are available at HAC. Please ask a member of staff should you require one.
- A reminder that members using HAC aircraft are only to self-authorise when they have met the criteria (please refer to Page 7-8 of the Flying Order Book).
- I am attending a Flight Safety Officer Course from Monday-Wednesday this week so will return on Thursday. Should you have any urgent issues in my absence, please contact Mike Russell (contact number on booking system).
Its been a difficult year for everybody but hopefully the worst is behind us as we look forward to better times ahead. Thank you to all who have helped make our return to flying preparations as smooth as possible.
