Access all Areas

For those of you working your way around the website there will be some things you cannot access at the moment. This is because we are still preparing some parts of the website. These fall into three classes:

Members Pages

These pages will contain information relevant to the membership of the club such as downloadable documents, guides, tips and other things which may be useful. We are currently still developing those pages now. They need to be approved before we make them generally available. Once approved we will provide the password on one of the noticeboards in the club.

Experimental Pages

There is a second type of page which has some experimental ideas on. These also need approval, and are being developed. Eventually this content will make it to the Members pages, or be discarded. These are under a separate password.

Editors Pages

There is currently one page in the website which is for website editors and content providers with a login for the website. This contains guides on editing the website so we can remain self sufficient with a small editing team.

Newsletter

A number of people have found the newsletter and signed up. However there was a problem with a sending email address in the website. It was not functioning until Friday night (6/12/19). It is now. The first 10 or more members may receive duplicate copies of an email requesting that they acknowledge their subscription.

You need to locate this email because you have not joined the subscriber list until you have complete that step. This prevents the club or anyone else subscribing you without your permission. We need to make sure that this part of the communications is wholly GDPR compliant so only you can do this. The newsletter page can be found here: Newsletter

Request for Editors and Content Providers

We wish to create a small team of editors and also need content providers (that is all of you) to send in your news along with some photos. If you have any ideas or wish to become involved please contact us and let us know. We will be back in touch shortly.
