We have made quite a few changes on the Halton Aero Club website please take a look around to familiarise yourselves with the new organisational structure. The home page has links at the top to connect to the aircraft booking system, the weather system and airfield information. Further down are quick link buttons to help you to navigate through the website. The site has been further optimised for mobile devices as well as large screen devices.
There are now sections in the site with news from specific groups such as Operations, Safety and Training. The news page contains all of the news from across the website.

If you find anything not working as expected please let us know by sending a message to webmaster@haltonaeroclub.co.uk telling us what you have found, where it is located in the site, and how you think it should work. We will take a look and fix it.
Sign up to the newsletter
To help in marketing, membership and operations communications the site now has a newsletter built into it. The newsletter allows us to repackage up news that has been added to the site into a short email. If you subscribe we can send the email to you once a month. The newsletter will provide a round up of all of the news for the period and any special notices for members. The system is fully GDPR compliant; we cannot add you, you need to sign yourselves by subscribing to the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of a newsletter if you do not wish to receive any more. You remain in control all of the time. Got a story to tell?
In order to keep the site alive and up to date we need content to add to the website in terms of news items. If you have a story to tell send it in to webmaster@haltonaeroclub.co.uk. It does not need to be an essay, a few paragraphs will do. Also send us a landscape orientation image as well, or several if you have them.
Call for editors
We anticipate creating a small team of editors for the website. No previous experience is required, training will be provided. If you are interested in participating in this activity or finding out more please send a message to mark.wingrove@haltonaeroclub.co.uk. This is an activity which can be carried out from anywhere, on your computer, at any time. You do not need to come into the club to edit the website. Training will take around 2.5hrs at the club.
