A quick update from the HAC.
HAC ‘FIRST TUESDAY’ SOCIAL PROGRAMME
Mark Anderson and Elliot Emery are the new HAC Social Team and have done a great job in pulling this prog together. Please put the following into your diaries:
> Tue 7 Jun – 1915 hrs – AGM (in the RAFA Clubhouse, next to the Airfield Car Park)
> Tue 12 Jul – 1930 hrs – Flight Safety Evening – HAC FS Team (Note – not the 1st Tue of the month!)
> Tue 2 Aug – 1930 hrs – Summer Social Evening
> Tue 6 Sep – 1930 hrs – Precision Air Weapons – Al Byford
> Tue 4 Oct – 1930 hrs – High Wycombe in Aviation – Dave Scott
> Tue 1 Nov – 1930 hrs – Flight of the Navigator – Mark Manwaring
> Tue 6 Dec – 1930 hrs – Christmas Social Evening
Into 2023, we will have GASCo, SkyDemon and other great speakers scheduled.
ROYAL INTERNATIONAL AIR TATTOO 2022
It is an honour for the HAC to be invited to RIAT 2022. Deacon has sent a separate email – please respond to him ASAP if you would like to attend.
FLEET UPDATE
G-EDGA – New engine ordered and expected to be fitted around mid-July (at TBO of its existing engine)
G-BSCZ – Returned to the HAC. Now available for booking on the EBS
G-BVTM – This workhorse is back from its 100 hr service and available for booking on the EBS
G-BNKI – New engine due for delivery/fitting at Enstone around 6 Jun 22
G-HACS – The engineer scheduled to work on CS has now recovered from Covid – we expect it to be serviceable mid-week.
