HAC FOB Update

The HAC FOB has been updated and went live on 15 January and all pilots will be “in the Red” until they have signed as having read the new FOB.

In addition to minor editorial changes the key updates are:

Order 1.3 Flight Authorisation.

1.3.6 Self Authorization Requirements The minimum hours for Self Auth are now  50 (vice 100).  Also, self auth approval is now to be renewed annually.

Order No. 1.4 Completion of Technical Log and Notification of Defects of HAC Aircraft.

New terminology, buit procedure unchanged

Order No. 1.5 Requirements for Solo Flying in Club Aircraft

1.5.4 Addition of 60 day currency requirement for Self Auth pilots

1.5.6 Addition of read across from C152 to PA28
