Dear Member,

RAF HALTON (OR ANY) ATZ – DOES IT OFFER YOU PROTECTION?

Numerous incursions in the ATZ over the past few weeks have demonstrated the requirement to remain vigilant and keep an effective lookout whilst in the circuit.  Treat circuit flying as if you are in uncontrolled, busy Class G Airspace!

In addition, report any strangers whether fixed wing, gliders or drones immediately to Ops on 130.425 and when safely on the ground, consider Inform/Airprox follow-up.

This Infringements Hotspot Narrative has been published by the Airspace Safety Initiative: https://airspacesafety.com/hot-spot-narratives/

Please take time to read it.

Lookout – Avoid – Report – Stay Safe
