Please read this email carefully. Yes, it is long, but if you want a pass issued to you without delay, it is in your best interest to read.
Attached are guides to filling out the required paperwork along with the new forms (both in PDF/Word format) to gain access to RAF Halton. You are to fill in and complete these forms and guidance has been given below. These are new forms, so ensure you use these. They will be uploaded to the website in due course.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in your application not being forwarded to the pass office for issue and will cause a delay in getting your pass issued.
Furthermore, I deploy to Cyprus on the 24th March and I will not have the time to go back and forward asking members to correct forms and attach files when the guidance below is simple.
Easy one first.
All holders of an in-date MOD F90 (ID Card) or other approved RAF Halton Station ID Card, is not required to complete any of the Station Pass paperwork.
FOR ALL NEW MEMBERS TO HAC OR MEMBERS THAT HAVE FAILED TO PICK UP THEIR PASS FROM THE PASS OFFICE.
Once you have paid your membership money, the next steps are required to be issued a Social Pass by RAF Halton.
1. Complete the HAC BPSS using the HAC guide to help you.
a. PART 4, Para 2 – The documents you state here must be included in the email to me. Docs recommended to use are:
i. Driving Licence
ii. Passport
iii. Utility Bill
2. Complete the HAC Social & Vehicle Pass Application using the HAC guide to help you.
a. YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL IN VEHICLE DETAILS TO PARK IN THE CAR PARK. IT IS ONLY REQUIRED BY THOSE THAT NEED TO GO BEYOND THE AIRFEILD BARRIER.
3. Complete the MOD Form 134 – Official Secret Act. Again use the guide if needed.
4. Once all forms are complete these are to be emailed to me – carl.finch@haltonaeroclub.co.uk.
a. Attached to that email needs to be 5 attachments. (Do not send all documents in one doc/pdf – It will be deleted. Do not send directly to the pass office. Dionne has been instructed to delete it.)
i. Completed BPSS
ii. Completed Social & Vehicle Pass Application Form
iii. Completed MOD Form 134
iv. Driving Licence or Passport or Utility Bill
v. Driving Licence or Passport or Utility Bill
5. Once checked your email will be send on to the Pass Office and I will copy you in that email, so that you know it has been sent. Dionne will action. Can take a couple of days, can be longer during the renewal period, so having your documents correct for a swift process for all involved.
MEMBERS RENEWING THEIR PASS 22/23 – ONLY those successful applicants
when notified by the Membership Sec, you are required to send, only the completed Social & Vehicle Pass Application Form. Any member that are sending applications now and have not been advised will have their email deleted.

On 14th Feb 2022 all existing qualifying and non-qualifying members (including reciprocal, temporary and social) and those on the waiting list can apply for membership for 2022-23. Those wishing to join for the new Club year should complete and submit to the Membership Sec a membership application form no later than 1st March to be considered for membership. Qualifying members must also apply at this point so that the Membership Secretary has the best visibility of the number of non-qualifying places he will be able to offer. No monies are to be sent at this time.
On 1st March 2022 the Membership Sec will compile a list of applications received* for Chairman’s consideration showing:
- All those who qualify for Full Membership.
- All those applying Veteran (F9) membership.
- All those applying for A1, A2 and A3 membership.
- All those A1, A2 and A3 applicants undertaking or planning to take a LAPL/PPL course
- The number of Associate Membership places available within the RAFSA rules.
By 14th March 2022 the Chairman will decide which non-qualifying applications are to be accepted.
By 21st March 2022 the Membership Sec will notify those successful applicants (both Full and Associate) requesting payment of membership fee (by BACS) no later than 31st March . If payment is not received by 15th April, the membership offer will lapse and offered to the next eligible applicant on the waiting list.
By 1st April the Membership Sec will notify all unsuccessful applicants and place them on the waiting list.
*Applications received after 1st March will be dealt with in order of receipt, but the same criteria will be applied.
